In order for an organisation to meet environmental compliance while minimising environmental damage, an Environmental Managament Plan (EMP) should be in place. The EMP is also a useful tool in helping an organisation map continual improvements and progress in its development.
EMPs must be structured to reflect complexity of processes and level of environmental responsibility. Some plans are a few pages while some are quite detailed and complex documents.
EMPs usually follow a format such as:
- Implementation and Operation
- Checking and Corrective Action
From initial consultation to final drafting of the EMP, our staff can lead the process as well as be involved with the staff training and implementation of the final plan.
